If you want to go to Liverpool, you must go to the Pier Head which many say represents the very heart and soul of this world famous city. It has the Three Graces, the ferry terminal and its unique waterfront that ranks very well with other skylines such as Sydney, New York and of course runs alongside the River Mersey with the nearby Port of Liverpool. I nearly forgot, there is the new cruise liner terminal as well that brings in travellers from all over the world.
3 Graces
The Three Graces, from left to right, comprise of the Royal Liver Building built in 1908, next is the Cunard Building constructed in 1914  and lastly the former offices of the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, the first of the three to be created in 1903.
